Kynar® 1000HD is manufactured from premium Kynar material, a polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) engineering resin known for its outstanding corrosion and chemical resistance at both ambient and elevated temperatures. This advanced engineered resin solution is inherently UV stable, mechanically tough, abrasion-resistant, and features excellent flame resistance.

Kynar® 1000HD distinguishes itself as a whiter grade of PVDF compared to Kynar® 740, making it ideal for applications requiring long-term exposure to harsh chemicals. Its superior chemical resistance includes halogens such as chlorine, bromine, fluorine, and iodine, as well as strong acids—even at high temperatures. As a wire jacketing material, Kynar® can be irradiated and used in continuous temperatures up to 175°C, and remains popular for its inherent flame resistance.
