Clear cast acrylic rods come in diameters ranging from .250 to 8.0 inches. Tight tolerances throughout the manufacturing process assures you of getting the highest quality rods in the industry. Our standard material is a clear ultraviolet transmitting acrylic, but colored rods are also available. Small stock diameter (.250″ to 2.0″) rods come in standard lengths of 8 feet with larger diameters being shorter.
Cast acrylic is highly regarded for its optical clarity and outstanding light transmission properties. Cast acrylic rod is unaffected by sunlight or fluorescent lights, resists aging and maintains stability under a wide range of conditions. This material weighs half as much as glass and has up to seventeen times greater impact resistance than glass.
