UV Filtering Acrylic Sheet (Polymethyl-Methacrylate or PMMA) is an amorphous thermoplastic which is optically transparent, unaffected by moisture and offers a high strength-to-weight ratio. Common trade names of acrylic include Plexiglas®, Lucite®, and Acrylite®.
