Tecaform® AD Acetal Copolymer

Tecaform® AD is a versatile engineering plastic with high strength and dimensional stability. Tecaform® AD is suitable for a wide range of applications. It is characterized by its resistance to organic solvent and outstanding machinability. This homopolymer acetal has exceptional sliding characteristics and good wear resistance properties. In comparison to POM-C, POM-H has a slightly higher density, hardness, and strength due to its higher crystallinity. In addition, POM-H has good electrical insulating properties, as well as exceptional machining characteristics, making Ensinger's Delrin 150 natural acetal one of the most versatile engineering materials available today.

Tecaform® AD is most commonly used in food processing, food engineering, automotive industry, conveyor technology, construction industry, and mechanical engineering industries.

Features:

  • Good machinability
  • High stiffness
  • High fatigue strength
  • High creep resistance
  • Good wear properties
  • Very good abrasion resistance
