Polyimide tape made with Kapton®, a high temperature polyimide film that offers high dielectric strength and excellent performance in electrical and thermal insulation. Kapton® tapes are thin and conformable, have outstanding tear resistance at elevated temperatures, and have high impact and abrasion resistance. This film is also coated with a high temperature, pressure sensitive silicone or acrylic adhesive that makes it great for electrical insulators.
