Ertalyte® PET-P is produced by proprietary resin grades only by Quadrant. Its properties make it especially suitable for the manufacture of precision mechanical parts which are capable of sustaining high loads and enduring wear conditions.

Containing a uniformly dispersed solid lubricant (PTFE) filler, Ertalyt® TX provides a lower wear rate and coefficient of friction than unmodified PET or PBT and even internally lubricated materials such as Delrin® AF, as well as enhanced wear and inertness over general purpose nylon (PA) and acetal(POM) products.

Key properties of Ertalyte® TX are its high strength and stiffness, very good dimensional stability, high creep resistance, and very good chemical resistance. Excellent performance in both high-pressure and high-velocity conditions makes Ertalyt® TX an ideal material for machining bushings and bearings that require no startup or running lubrication. Applications involving soft metal and plastic mating surfaces also benefit from this combination of properties.

Ertalyte® TX has FDA and USDA compliance.
