Kydex® 5555 MB is a low release aviation sheet with Microban® Antimicrobial Product Protection. Kydex® 5555 MB is specifically formulated to meet the safety needs of the aviation industry. Microban® protection is built-in to continuously fight the growth of microbes. Kydex® 5555 MB meets all the requirements set forth in Federal Aviation Regulations 25.853 paragraphs (a) and (d) including low heat release (65/65) in the OSU rate of heat release test. Kydex® 5555 MB exceeds the heat release to a level of 55/55.
