Foam tapes are high performance tapes of either polyethylene, polyurethane, or polyvinyl material with an acrylic adhesive.
Foam tapes provide cushioning, vibration dampening, and sound deadening. They conform very well to irregular surfaces and curves and are excellent for filling larger voids and variable gaps. Foam tapes are inherently resistant to fire, ultraviolet rays, most chemicals, acids and solvents. They are used in all industries where an effective seal against water, dust, air, noise, and vibration is required, as well as being used for the bonding together of a variety of materials.
Foam tape products are either closed or open cell types and can be supplied with a single- or double-coated adhesive.
