CPVC – 300™ FM 4910 is a plastic sheet product that controls static electricity in clean room applications requiring flame CPVC 300 retardant clear plastic. These applications include: clean room glazing, machine windows, doors, covers and enclosures; and fabricated desiccators and cabinets. This product is a Factory Mutual 4910* compliant chlorinated polyvinyl chloride sheet coated with C – 300™ static dissipative coating to prevent charge generation on the sheets surfaces. This controls particulate attraction and prevents electrostatic discharge (ESD) events completely independent of humidity. CPVC – 300™ has excellent flammability and smoke generation properties, plus superior chemical resistance, surface hardness, and mar resistance. Since the chemical properties of resins may vary according to the amount of chlorination and the types and quantity of additives, contact an Emco Industrial Plastics representative before designing material handling systems using CPVC.
