Buna-N Foam
EMCO Industrial Plastics carries Buna-N, also known as Nitrile, foam available in strip, sheet, roll, or custom gasket forms. Buna-N displays excellent strength and is the standard choice when oil resistance is required. This material also resists water and mild chemicals. Commonly found in applications related to automotive, engines, fuel systems, marine, and oil and gas. Available in closed cell, with pre-applied single or double-sided Acrylic Adhesive backing options, and a smooth finish.
Our Buna-N materials are available in thicknesses of 1/16” to 1”, including all standard iterations of inch and metric thickness measurements across this range. Continuous strips, rolls, and sheets are available in any width from 1/8” to 36”, and lengths up to 30’. In-house CNC gasket cutting, machining, and waterjet cutting capabilities promote tight tolerances, repeatable accuracy, and rapid part development across our entire Buna-N offering.
