EMCO Industrial carries both foam and sponge rubber materials used in endless appplications suck as shock absoprtion, cushioning, and sealing & gasketing. With over 20 different materials and grades available, end products can be custom tailored to the most critical specifications. Our foam sheets are available in lenghts of up to 225 feet, with sheet thickness from 1/32" to 4". All materials are offered with pre-applied adhesive, and can be cut to any custom size or shape with superb accuracy and tight tolerances.
Below is a full listing of our foam material offering, as well as all specialty grades, sizes, and common applications for each of the respective materials.

Neoprene Foam

Neoprene is the most commonly used foam matrical due to its good balance of strength, oil, water, and weather resistance. Common applications include industrial gaskets to seal water, air, dust, and other environmental items, automotive gaskets, and athletic equipment. Available in open and closed cell styles, with pre-applied single or doulbe sided Acrylic Adhesive backing options, and smooth or textured finishes. Neoprene's operating temperature range is -70°F to 200°F. For detailed material specifications and details on Neoprene, click here.

Flame Retardant Meets UL94 V0 standard for flammability, smoke, and toxicity.
Food Meets FDA CFR 117.2600 food grade standard. Commonly used in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical processing applications.
Low Compression Set Withstands repetitive and extended periods of compression longer than standard foam materials.

Cell Types
Closed Cell Prevents liquids and gasses from passing through.
Semi-Closed Cell Highly conformable like an open-cell foam, but forms a tight seal and prevents air, water, & fluids from passing through it like a closed-cell foam.
Open Cell Allows liquids and gasses to pass through.
