Identical to Boltaron® 9815E (extruded) heavy-gauge sheet in formulation, properties, fire ratings, lengths, widths and unlimited color availability, Boltaron® 9815F (calendered) film/sheet is offered in gauges from .010 to .035 in. (25 to 89 mm) in two surface textures that match, and one that complements, 9815E. Boltaron® 9815F meets stringent FAA requirements for flammability, smoke generation and heat release while exhibiting exceptional physical properties.
It offers Izod impact resistance of 5.0 ft lbs/in. (265 J/m) — higher than competitive 65/65-compliant sheets rated at 3.0 ft lbs/in. (159 J/m) — significantly improving the durability of thermoformed and laminated aircraft interior components.
