The solid sheets are equally suitable for manufacturing structured Fresnel lenses by hot embossing and as a substrate for manufacturing laminated lenses, which involves laminating structured films or injection-molded lenses into the sheets. Their special properties are precise mold surface reproduction, high transmittance and excellent resistance to weathering and UV light. The new Acrylite® Solar Pre-Fab Lens Panel provides assemblers with a high precision CPV primary optical element optimized for use in the Ventana Optical Train. It utilizes Light Prescriptions Innovators’ (LPI) patented Fresnel-Kohler (FK) Concentrator design and is manufactured in proprietary access.
