SBR Rubber

EMCO Industrial Plastics carries Styrene Butadiene Rubber, also known as SBR, available in strip, sheet, roll, or custom gasket forms. SBR is a good economical choice for general purpose use and offers good abrasion resistance, excellent impact strength, very good resilience and a high tensile strength.

Our SBR materials are available in thicknesses of 1/16” to 1”, including all standard iterations of inch and metric thickness measurements across this range. Continuous strips, rolls, and sheets are available in any width from 2” to 36”, and lengths up to 100’. In-house CNC gasket cutting, machining, and waterjet cutting capabilities promote tight tolerances, repeatable accuracy, and rapid part development across our entire SBR offering.

Material Highlights

  • Excellent impact strength
  • Superior resilience
  • Good abraision resistance
  • High tensile strength
