Neoprene Rubber

EMCO Industrial Plastics carries a wide selection of Neoprene rubber grades, available in strip, sheet, roll, or custom gasket forms. Neoprene rubber has a good balance of properties and is suitable for oils, water, and refrigerants while remaining tough and weather resistant. Available with a pre-applied Acrylic Adhesive backing and an optional textured finish.

Our Neoprene materials are available in thicknesses of 0.02” to 2”, including all standard iterations of inch and metric thickness measurements across this range. Continuous strips, rolls, and sheets are available in any width from 1/4” to 56”, and lengths up to 200’. In-house CNC gasket cutting, machining, and waterjet cutting capabilities promote tight tolerances, repeatable accuracy, and rapid part development across our entire Neoprene offering.

Material Grades

Standard Made of industrial grade materials for general purpose use.
High Strength A stronger & more durable formulation for more demanding applications.
Ultra Strength Stronger & more durable than standard and high strength formulations for the most demanding applications.
Food Meets FDA CFR 117.2600 food grade standard. Commonly used in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical processing applications.
Fabric Reinforced Nylon and Polyester inserts help withstand high stress and frequent flexing. Commonly used for flange gaskets, diaphragm packing, or heavy-compression applications.
Flame Retardant Meets UL94 V0 standard for flammability, smoke, and toxicity.
Metal Detectable Contains metal fillers which allow the rubber to be picked up by metal detection systems should they tear or fall into the process stream.
Military Compliant with military specifications (MIL-R & MIL-G).
Non-Marking Specially formulated to prevent residue and marking on surface after use.
