Polyrethane's broad hardness range (eraser-soft to bowling-ball-hard), allows the engineer to replace rubber, plastic, and metal in sleeve bearings, wear plates, sprockets, rollers, and various other machinery parts. Benefits from this substitution include weight reduction, noise abatement, wear improvements, and reduced plant maintenance and OEM product cost. Many applications using this ultra-tough material have cut down-time, maintenance time, and significant cost reduction of parts. Additional properties include greater oil, solvent, abrasion and tear resistance, as well as good impact strength, low compression set and excellent bearing capacity. Polyurethane, available in sheets, rods and tubes are tough, crack-resistant, and lasts significantly longer than conventional rubbers and plastics. We provide custom diameters, lengths, hardness, and colors with little or no tooling costs.
