UHMW Tapes: UHMW polyethylene film coated with a pressure sensitive acrylic or rubber adhesive creates a nonstick, low-friction surface similar to PTFE tape but with much higher abrasion and puncture resistance.
UHMW tapes exhibit excellent abrasion resistance and a low coefficient of friction, making it an excellent bearing or wear surface. UHMW tapes are specified anywhere you need a friction-less or non-stick surface. UHMW tapes are also an effective solution for eliminating noise and vibration problems caused by movement in adjacent parts.
